We have pizza about once per month or so. Moderation is the key.

I smoke a pork shoulder and make killer pulled pork BBQ a couple of times per year. We do a brisket yearly, tenderloin steaks when the kids come. We did prime rib for Christmas.

You can indulge on occasion. We have pecan pie with vanilla ice cream, but only for Thanksgiving. Its one of the perks that makes Thanksgiving special- eleven months till my next pecan pie. If ever death is knowingly inevitable, I might eat a whole pecan pie. If I were on death row, that would be the desert for my last meal.
