You have to drive a car once in a while to keep the battery charged.

In my experience, batteries last about 3 years even with daily driving. I only put 38,000 miles on my last vehicle in 9 years, but it was driven frequently for short distances.

I used to drive to my office (3 miles) and back. I even drove back and forth for lunch. Before that, I worked offshore. I drove 50 miles to the heliport and flew offshore. The vehicle sat for two weeks. I came in and drove 50 miles home and a few miles around on my days off. I made a few trips, but they still didn't add up to much. I got a premium when I traded.
