When I was 10, my dad bought me this crazy horse. She was half quarter horse and half mustang (captured wild horse). She ran away with me on numerous occasions.

She would bite the bit so trying to pull her was like jerking on a tree trunk. She always ran back to the house when she ran away, We had a circular drive, so two entrances. On one occasion, I was riding her bareback and she ran away. As she approached the first turn in, I grabbed a handful of mane and was prepared for a hard left. She thought about it and slowed slightly but continued on. I relaxed for a second anticipating that she was going to take the next turn. She decided to turn in the middle and jump the ditch. I went skidding down the gravel road and got nicely skinned up.

I eventually traded her back to the guy I got her from for one of her colts that was much tamer, but boring compared to Dolly. She loved to run and could freaking fly - fastest horse I ever rode.
