Sorry to hear it.

Some families are beautiful things. Some are not. I am looking forward to seeing my kids and their SOs tomorrow for Christmas dinner. I'm also looking forward to giving them all presents and enjoying their company.

While I agree that the present thing can get out of hand making Thanksgiving my favorite holiday, it doesn't have to be a big deal.

I realize that I am very blessed to be part of a loving functional family. I wish everyone could experience it.
