when our last kid graduated. We were supplying room, board, books and spending money. Luckily they both had scholarships covering tuition. We had two boys sharing a $1000/month apartment, utilities, cable internet etc. Both of them wrecked a couple of cars. I have no real idea exactly what it all cost, but when we got them out and independent, we had to keep transferring money to saving monthly.
