RE: Car Audio

I used to change out the stock speakers regularly 15-20 years ago. They used to have shops that specialized in this. They would have maybe 20-30 different speakers set up driven by the same amp. You just pushed buttons to change speakers. I picked speakers that sounded good to me and had the shop change them out. I got good results using the original amp.

My last two vehicles have had the "premium" sound system factory installed and have been pretty good out the door. My current Honda premium system is the best sound I have ever had. As one other person says though, traffic and wind noise can kill any system. I drive mostly around town so it's not so much of an issue.
