I am the builder type but I have become too lazy. If I add up the price of the parts at newegg, the custom builder is only 5% more if I consider sales taxes. Since they have a good reputation I'm expecting it to be good. And I'm going high end with ssd, loads of disk space, hot swappable bays. If my current one was not failing (freezing up every few hours at random) I'd do it myself. But I will pay to get it done fast.
