Had a 2000 TL and then a 2008. That one was destroyed in a flash flood but I managed to find the same car to replace it with the insurance settlement.
It has really good acceleration given it's size mostly thanks to the Honda engine which doesn't complain about 5000 RPM. The ride is comfortable enough and my only complaint would be steering which is a bit "loose", doesn't give one a good feel of the road.
Acuras constantly get high marks on reliability and I can confirm that all three of mine have been highly reliable and needed nothing except routine maintenance.
What I particularly liked was the absence of accessory packages. It only comes in two trims Nav and Non-Nav. Now, I have the base model which is not AWD so I can't comment about that vehicle but a quick trip to Edmunds.com should provide a reasonable review of it.
One last comment, I wouldn't buy one of the current generation Acuras only because I (like many) think they're butt ugly but that's just MHO.
