...that is where you need to go..most family docs do not feel comfortable treating trigger fingers..especially if they need injecting..depending on how significantly it 'triggers' will depend on which way they go..more then likely they will inject the pulley with cortisone and put you on an anti-inflammatory med and see what happens..they ...the orthopods...usually always try the conservative approach first...good luck..
