RE: Whoa!...

Having been in the hifi biz at that time, I have several direct-to-disk Sheffield and Crystal Clear LPs of that time, including two copies of "Lincoln Mayorga and Distinguished Colleagues" - one I opened and one un-opened (both second take or pressing or whatever). The un-opened one is worth about $75 - $100 to the right buyer. Certainly not enough to sell it (which I wouldn't do anyway), or to carry it around at a show for four hours.

Heck, I wouldn't even sell my Miles Davis "Kind Of Blue" original CL 1355.

Why sell any of these iconic albums?! You get the couple hundred bucks, spend it, and then you don't have the money nor the album!

Heck, I've got 1/2 cent and 1 cent postage stamps from the 1880s that are worth maybe $10 each, if that. So what? Lots of people do. I couldn't buy two freakin' Subway sandwiches for $10! They'll be passed on to my kids (the stamps, not the sandwiches).
