well that's the point, it's not being realized. from all of us, our efforts & contributions to this country and society, especially the conscription and enlistment of 'our' youth to the armed services protecting it, there should / could be a far better or egalitarian social & cultural construct in place by now realized by having universal healthcare, education, and a baseline income

with the aforementioned 'capital' involved if the investments are prioritized correctly and not outright stolen along the way this is both affordable & attainable ... then this country would truly be that mythical beacon for the world

the dog eat dog model for living in this world is simply unsustainable

as humans somewhere along the line it was decided we could afford our nightmares instead of our dreams
