Correction AGAIN!...

"If people don't buy gasoline, they're not affected by higher prices"--WRONG!!!

Just because you don't buy gasoline/fuel (personally), doesn't mean that cargo ships/cargo aircraft/OTR truckers/delivery drivers won't be?

Transportation costs of ALL GOODS is IMMEDIATELY passed-on to the consumer--ALL consumers--that's not speculation, that's fact.

You're all good with your union pension, gov't subsidized SS, and Medicare. I haven't heard about any solar panels, EVs or participation in a local food-drive--yet, and probably won't, but you ordered a new bike to drive to the not-so-local trails to ride and enjoy?--am I correct here?

I quit. I gave you way too much credit for caring about anyone but yourself.

I have some "nice" things (and earned them), and donate > 10% of that for all the things you want, but don't want to pay for. And I'm not responsible for everyone else's wants/hopes/dreams--neither are the folks with a LOT more money than me.
