My son and his girlfriend just flew to Vancouver last night to help move his girlfriend's mother to Calgary this weekend. Although they've been planning the move a couple of months ago however they have never expected this kind of catastrophe.

Anyway, because of the flooding the B.C.'s main highways and bridges are closed for public safety so they're planning to drive back heading down south to Seattle and then beeline to Spokane using the I90 highway and then traverse north which will take them to Creston's border crossing. The trip will take a couple of days of which normally takes about 14 hours.

Anyway, hope you're not affected in Kelowna unlike the people in Merritt.
