...it is the #1 target for catalytic converter theft--specifically the 2004-2009 model years. I wondered why, but the linked article explains it. Because the engine does not run all the time, the catalytic converter is not up to optimal temp all the time. To compensate, there are larger quantities of the sought-after catalyst metals.
As per the article, a Prius CC is worth ~$1K, a CC from a Ford F-150 ~$150.
