Shouldn't be tough but I think it will be

I don't believe he should be afforded a self defense defense. He wasn't old enough to possess the weapon and he was where he wasn't supposed to be. Seems he has lied to everybody and I wouldn't believe a single word of his testimony.

Far as I'm concerned he was as at least as much a criminal as the rioters he went to war with.

All that said, from what I've seen and read, I think manslaughter and aggravated assault should be to top charges.

If that last guy he shot, the guy taking out a gun, had shot and killed Rittenhouse instead I would go for manslaughter for him too. None of the guys should get a self defense defense.

I like your boxing ring analogy - all these folks stepped into it. I was a big rumble - no one went there to kill and everyone voluntarily entered the fight. No place for a self defense defense or first degree murder charges (a least not in this situation unlike that Portland shooting).
