... so it only kills vegetation that has wide ("broad") leaves. It does not kill narrow (blade) type leaves. However, products like Weed-B-Gon and it's ilk do significantly stress out the grass and kills off beneficial microbes in the soil, and so you might notice your lawn turning slightly yellow after using things like Weed-B-Gon.Therefore, applying things like WBG to your lawn more than twice a year is not recommended because lawn damage and/or lawn death may result.
Narrow (blade) type vegetation must be killed with other types of "broad spectrum" herbicides such as Roundup.
All of our popular herbicides probably are much more toxic than many would like to admit.
