If nothing else, they would make awesome granny flats for many many suburban backyards. Could be prefitted out and dropped in place.
Like in the video, the ones I've seen had cliplock type roofing on a separate panel above the container, and cladding on the outside with insulation.
There was a thing in the '70's maybe, of people living in converted train carriages. I guess containers are the new carriages.
