About application of 30% strength vinegar...

Now that's a strong acid. Have to be suited up in protective gear before application. No doubt the dandelion tops will be killed. But how about that taproot? I've read that dandelion taproots can extend as far as 15 feet underground! And I just found this article from Oregon State University, and it reads that vinegar won't kill the taproot.

Might be a whole lot of fun though, suited up and spraying an industrial strength acid all over my lawn. That and the flamethrower for the dandelion puffballs.
