Stupid, stupider and stupiderer.

I go to Manhattan 3-4 times per week, lived there for over 40 years and was there last night. I live 2-3 miles from Manhattan (including round about into Lincoln Tunnel, less as the crow flies) now and am looking at the West Side skyline as I type this. Our apt. is about 6 blocks from the Hudson River up high on somewhat of a cliff.

I also remember what happened in the entire NYC area, Long Island and Jersey when Sandy hit - especially since we had no power/heat for 10 days. The building in Manhattan one of my friends lived in the West Village had no electricity, no heat, no water, no gas for weeks.

At the time we thought it was a freak event that'd never happen again in our lifetime. Unlike dolts like you, now we know better.
