In Reply to: I thought we went through this with the British stats: when a majority is vaccinated, of course more will posted by jdaniel@jps.net on November 3, 2021 at 18:41:40:
"Although the absolute number of cases in the vaccinated group began to exceed the absolute number of cases in the unvaccinated group after 120 days, the incidence rate, which is really what counts, was consistently higher for the unvaccinated group than the vaccinated group at every time point in every category, although as time went on it failed to reach statistical significance. There were 2 exceptions, the main one being people over the age of 80 evaluated after 9 months, in which the incidence rate in the vaccinated exceeded the Ir in unvaccinated, and some subgroups in which the levels were equivalent. The meaning and interpretation of the findings for the over-80 age group needs analysis and i don't think any conclusions can be drawn. Otherwise, nothing in this paper supports the idea that vaccination makes people sicker. It only indicates that immunity wanes, as we already know, and strengthens the argument for booster doses."
