Why?

Why would the Chinese want to disrupt our economy and send us into a recession? China needs consumers in the west to buy the products made in its factories. That isn't going to happen if we're flat on our asses.
Why can't we just buy the microchips from China instead? I'm sure they'd be thrilled to sell them, after all what else are they going to do with them? Why would we care where those chips came from? Nobody cares now, nobody ever did.
Who cares if China rearms? That just makes them as idiotic as we are, wasting trillions on the military. And I don't think they're that stupid.
Take stories of Chinese "aggression" with a huge grain of salt, after all that propaganda is coming from our own hawks who have lied to us over and over and over again for their own benefit.
