Interesting thought. But there are a LOT of ways that BTUs are used. For example, we can't put enough solar panels on a commercial aircraft, nor a nuclear reactor. With today's technology and costs, you can't convert an 80,000 pound 18-wheeler truck. Sure, we can put a nuclear reactor on an aircraft carrier or a submarine, but where would it placed on a commercial airliner or a truck?
I gotta go, so, the question is: Where can nuclear energy be more useful in our society than other sources of electricity and other fuels?
