Only thing worse? Owning a BOAT. I see an Aspirational boat. 44 foot EastBay made by Grand Banks/ Twin Diesels. Comprehensive Electronics. Might burn 20 gallons per HOUR.
Incredibly well appointed thruout. Nothing skimped. Fill 'er up at the gas dock COULD run a Grand.....
BUT? Probably 3/4 Million $ and WAY beyond even aspirational. This one is 1.3 Million....so flip thru the pics. But you CAN get to the 3/4 Million range IF you are OK with one built 15 years ago. Ad I link is a 3 year old boat.....
Downside of Oregon coastal? Or within 20 miles? Cascadia Fault.which starts south in California waters and goes way north. When THIS one lets go? You'd WISH you were back in SF.....My brother used to tell me 'no EQs in Idaho' where he lived, but THIS will be quite the exception.....I've toured Boise and they are NOT ready for something like this.
When I spent some time on the far Western side of Idaho, we'd drop over and SHOP because of no sales tax....as did virtually everyone ELSE within 40 miles of the border! We were near Ontario. Lots of neat rivers......
Good part of Willamette Valley? HOPS. If you are a home brewer? Some VERY fine hops....
