I suppose it's possible that she's right, but I have no doubt we're going to try to exploit the situation to the fullest extent we can. I just long for the days when babe RT reporter Gayane Chichakyan used to twist our mental midget US spokespersons Jen Psaki and John Kirby into little knots. (This was in the days before RT reporters were barred from press briefings - our spokespeople couldn't stand the heat!)

Be that as it may. . .
It looks like Putin's "fraternal help" to Kazakhstan may be calming down the situation there. ;-)
And BTW, I found it interesting that Psaki herself used the word, "playbook", to describe what the US is said to be doing by those dirty Russkies - although she's not clear as to who it is who actually said that. ;-)
There are possibly a lot of moving parts in the Kazakh situation, and one which has not received a lot of discussion is that part of it is a power skirmish between the new guy (Tokayev) and the old guy (Nazarbayev). Here's an analysis from yesterday from Alexander Mercouris, whose YouTube commentary I try to catch every day if I can. As a speaker, he has some distracting habits, but I think that the substance of his messages is usually pretty well-informed:

Here's his commentary from earlier today, which I haven't seen yet:
