RE: Real unintended acceleration

So sorry to hear that. Hope she fully recovers quickly.

I was a life long casual walker - alone and later with my dogs. In the last couple of years it's become clear that any health benefit derived comes at a cost of further ortho degeneration. I already have replacement knees and left hip that will one day required replacements and having had 8 inches of colon removed and a pacemaker with ICD implanted in 2001 surgery isn't high on my bucket list. My shoulders and elbows can stick and my wrists and ankles are limited in their range of motion. I've also had multiple nightmarish hospital experience.

I've literally spend months if not years walking on treadmills. We have a nice one but I no longer use it. Never clipped on the emergency shut off cord when using it. If I ever get back on it though I will. Thanks and best wishes for your wife's recovery from her fall and ailments.
