It's like election interference, only some things matter some of the time, depends on who's in charge and what they want it to be. Methane being a more powerful GW gas than CO2 I suppose underscores the point.

Hey, speaking of fluid meanings, technically speaking, wouldn't a good example of "a conspiracy to interfere with an election" actually be getting 50 odd gov officials say the laptop story was bogus knowing full well it was true?
