I've walked into many a near empty theater with people seated in the front. Wasn't my imagination.

The link below is to a synopsis of the AVS Home Theater of the Decade, designed by Keith Yates and owned by a past client of mine, Rob Hahn, a camera operator and cinematographer. The screen is 19' wide with four-way masking, so can be made smaller. The "sweet seats" are about 14' back.

There are no seats in this room equal to the viewing distance of the back row of a movie theater. That was by design.

I was able to wrangle a screening ...words like awesome and incredible don't do the experience justice.
