LOL! No. Given America's disregard for the slaughter of Jews in Nazi concentration camps leadership decided to amend history by proclaiming Israel a nation on May 14, 1948. To appease America's guilt and American Jews and their boatloads of money we decided to save face by creating Israel as a recognized nation. Essentially planting a seed that has justified expanding, robbing, displacing, and/or the killing of millions of residents in the region.
