Unfortunately after WW2 and onward, the idea that a country or countries can be committed to help it's allies if attacked actually seemed like a good idea and would decrease the likelihood of conflict. We should probably re-evaluate who are friends actually are and who is worth defending.
But modern isolationists, some even here would rather we forget past promises to help eh?
Only one side is deliberately targeting civilians, the other side is targeting only military targets, leaving the power on and warning civilians to leave, how cruel of them
