Best tube for audio, that 6C33

Hi current, low voltage... just what you need to drive the speakers.

There was an "even more better" one, the 6C42, a 100W version, but I have never seen one in the flesh, only the drawings.

When I visited the Ulianovsk factory, making the 6C33's, I asked them to make a new 100W tube.

Sure... they could do it... just place an opening order for 100,000pcs.

Something like that.

BTW, there was an earlier version of that tube, called 6C18, not as robust, but it has, I think, better sound... so that is what I am using in my amps.
