My A4 is, I believe, a 7 speed S-Tronic. Smooth as silk. So far the only problems I've had are the leaking engine mounts. I had one replaced under warranty, my independent mechanic said they should be replaced in PAIRS (and it's a known Audi issue), but of course the dealer said no, the other one was fine. Nope. Now it's out of warranty and my mechanic will have to replace it out of warranty, $1,000+
So, Audi drivers, check your engine mounts.
Love my car. My mechanic tells me I need an S4 though. Who am I to doubt him?
