Too many people confuse license with liberty and think they can do whatever they want. There's also the issue of responsibility vs. childishness.
It's childish to drive drunk, and it's childish to leave the seatbelt unbuckled because "nobody's gonna tell ME what to do!"
That's nothing to be proud of. It didn't make America great, and it's been a hindrance to progress ever since white settlers landed here. We fought a civil war over it.
