Land Yacht of the Day

Or maybe in this case, aircraft carrier.
Lincoln, not sure if it's a '58 or '59, but it sure is big. And pink.
I was looking for Mamie Van Doren hanging out near the car somewhere but it was no go.

BTW, that reverse-slant rear window opened. Large center pane slid down into the body of the car. An uncle of mine--not the same uncle who owned a '56 Buick, but the other uncle who was a Mercury guy--had a '63 Mercury with the same window, called "Breezeway" by then, and it really worked well. Took a ride in the '63 Merc one summer evening and Unk lowered the window, opened the vent windows up front, and the car stayed nice and cool inside.
Another pic from the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix.

The blissful counterstroke-a considerable new message.
