My brother had a Land Crusher with a 350 chevy in place of the stovebolt 6, Go ANYWHERE when he drove it and lived in Idaho. And he snobbishly claimed to help rescue JEEP drivers who were generally less skilled and had deeper pockets...
He ended up selling that one and DID buy another....with the 3.0 HINO diesel and RIGHT hand drive.
Most parts from US issue worked, and any truck stop in N.America could work on the engine....it being used in Refrigerated trucks....
His last vehicle was the CRV but being Idaho, you could only find AWD models.....He loved it!
