What you pay for and get rarely match what you want, and I think they plan it that way.
Both our current rides have aftermarket leather (Katzkin?).
First the 2011 Prius purchased new and also our 2017 Nissan Leaf purchased from a private party about 1 1/2 years ago which the prior owner opted for with the entry level Leaf.
Both are mid to lower level trim cars which means no power seats and, in the case of the Leaf, regular electric heater and not the up-market heat pump which saves a lot of juice in winter. Also minimal rear view camera on the Leaf (only in reverse) and none on the Prius.
I could care less about 'car audio', and about the only feature I'd pay a lot extra for would be electric drivers seat with memory as the wife and I are polar opposites in dimensions.
On the plus side, maybe never have to shop for a new car again. If I had to would likely replace both our current rides with a new Prius Prime plug-in that would get us into town and back on a charge, replacing the Leaf, and anywhere else we want to go, replacing our current Prius.
First they came for the dumb-asses
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a dumb-ass
