I just got my Technician a couple months past.....

Is it ok to give call sign on a public forum?

Anyway, I was GIVEN an old Radio Shack 10 meter trans....so I need to figure out an antenna for the back yard or maybe somekind of mobile setup.....though I was also given one of those Beofeng handhelds for 2 meter / 70cm I think......But where I live I might not even be able to catch a repeater.

ICOM is great stuff.......I wanted one of their SW receivers until I saw the $$$
