I assume the breaker in the box is not a GFI?
From what you wrote, most likely it is the outside light that you had problems with in the past. You could a) inspect/rewire if necessary b) wait until it stops raining and dries out.
I like working outside on things, so I have compressors etc., outside, all connected to GFI breaker. If I leave things plugged in and it rains, GFI will pop if it rains hard enough. In rare cases, after a rain, I will plug something in and GFI will pop when I turn it on. If I wait an hour or so all is well. I did change that GFI once in 25 years, I would say the new one has popped has popped at least a 100 times, always rain involved.
