The "Funky Behavior" ;> ) that I have experienced has been when the CCS stops loading as if it's wide open then returns to normal behavior after I put it on the bench and apply a 9 VDC source. This could very well be something that I'm causing by fat fingering something during the construction or while applying the CCS. Just an observation. I've only a applied few of these with mostly pleasing results. Well worth the time and cash when you consider the alternatives.
When you refer to oscillations, is this typically an audible oscillation?
