Do I understand that you are using the RAKK straight into the Burson buffer without an intermediary transformer?

The advantage of a transformer before the Buffer, I believe, would be the isolation it affords between the digital and the analogue components.

Now I wonder whether the Buffer would bring any improvement to the already excellent sound of the RAKKII, by lowering the ouput impedance, and giving a slight increase in gain.
