I would recommend cascoding the anode load CCS on the input stage with a BC558B. The emitter of the BC558B connects to the current set trim pot and the collector to the emitter of the MJE350. Change the bias string to LED/2.2K/33K. Base of the BC558 to the junction of LED & 2.2K, base of the MJE350 to junction 2.2K/33K. Other end of 33K is grounded.
Also, I would ditch the CCS load on the output cathode follower in favor of one of Kevin's cascode MOSFET CCS kits.
