Home Jazz Alley

From Louis Armstrong to Charlie Parker to the new greats of today, this is the place for Jazz!

Wow, that's Very surprising.

Scott plays E and A Pedals over the G minor portion of Milestones.
Nobody else did that.
Amazing.
Scott was the first Modern Bass Player I would say.
Got away from Walking, became more Conversational.
He set the Standard that Gary Peacock, Eddie Gomez and others expanded on.
Trio 63 is a Fav Bill Evans Record.
I wish Gary did more recording with Bill.
But the Village Vanguard Sessions would keep me well and happy if it was the Only recording I had!
