This was recommended by Tom Danley.I compared the response loaded this way with the 45 deg center loading.Center is better,but not at all practical unless you have a huge room.
Don't ask me what they measured,I don't have a copy of the readings.Measurements taken inside are kind of bogus anyway...move the mic a few inches and the readings change.
The LABhorn starts with a 80 sq in throat,if you keep doubling the area,the next area past the mouth would be 1280 sq in.If you extend the top of the cabinet to the wall,you will find that the resulting opening(29"x45") comes out very close to 1280.
