Hi Don,Thanks for the kind words! Yes, of course it is kind of crazy. But we had the room and did not really use it, so I was allowed to fool around as I pleased, so I could not resist to built those horns:-)
And they really sound great too!
BTW, congratulations with your own beautiful setup! I am especially impressed by the large, round mid-bass horns you have made:-)
I would really like to compare a system like yours using compression drivers to my own. I have never really had a chance to hear such a system - Denmark where I live is no "horn country".
One suggestion: from a previous post regarding your system I understand that you use 6 dB/octave passive filters all the way through. Of course I can not know for sure, but I would think that an active solution with a steeper filter on the subs might improve the overall sound. Have you thought about that?
