Never thought about that,but had to try it.... It won't hold a screwdriver,but it will pull the blade if held next to it. It will hold a Sawzall blade,however.(minus the saw,of course.:-) )I used a 3/4" MDF disc,rather than the 1/4" aluminum plate for the woofer covers.
Could be a problem if it is next to a TV...
