Need speakers that can rock with just one watt? You found da place.

Question regarding McBean’s Horn Response program

After having made a given calculation of a hyperbolic/exponential bass horn using McBeans Horn Response program (version 6.30) and looking at the SPL response, you have an option under “tools” called “multiple speakers” (NOT )”. You can now choose “speaker groups connected in parallel” and insert “2” for having two speakers in parallel.

Could someone please explain to me what the premises for such a predicted response for using two identical drivers in parallel are?

Are the premises that horn length, S2 (mouth size), and LRC (rear chamber length) are held CONSTANT, while VRC (rear compression chamber volume), throat size (S1), VTC (throat chamber volume), and ATC (throat chamber average cross-sectional area) are DOUBLED or am I totally wrong?

And what one earth is FR (rear compression chamber acoustic lining airflow resistivity [rayl/cm])??

I would really appreciate your help (again)!

Regards
pk
