It's modified in that a pole piece extension was added. It looks cool, but has no effect. Their claimed sensitivity is at 1 watt, and since it's a 12 ohm speaker that's 3.46 volts. I don't see that as a plus. Can't hear them? Don't need to. The science always works, whether you understand it or not.
