We added a skirt on the bass bin along with casters to roll them. You don't see the wheels as they're hidden and are mounted underneath extending about 3/8" of inch below the skirt. I like your higher placement of the salad bowl which lets you set it back further.
What crossover are you thinking? Bruce supplied a 1st order crossover for me at 500hz with just a coil and old military surplus oil caps. The super tweeter comes in at 10K. The resistors in the pic are for the 2441. One goes across the + and - terminals (I've forgotten why that is needed) and the other resistor pads down the 2441. Bruce had a breakout box of sorts with an increasingly number of resistors and I could just go from one to another until I settled in on the amount of padding needed. Then, I did some measurements and came in with pretty much the same place.
