The way I do it (not necessarily the best way, but it works for me) is with a simple but great sounding analogue crossover (Sublime Acoustic K231), currently using 24dB slope at 500Hz. I kept a passive crossover between mid and tweeter.
With EdgarHorns I would think you don't really need the time alignment of a DSP (aren't the horns already "time aligned" by their relative position in space?), and you may find out a good analogue just plain sounds better. YMMV.
