but the FH1 is very capable of going to 500Hz - probably even better with some Eminence Kappa 15c
there's a guy on the Klipsch forums crossing his FH1s at 1KHz to some Altec 811B (but that seems like a bad idea to me). 500Hz easy-peasy.
The extended midrange capability of the FH1 is what forced me to go active; I used to have some LaScala bass bins with a 1st order 400Hz passive crossover; when I switched to FH1 there was suddenly plenty of midrange coming through the bass horns and the 6dB xover slope was no longer sufficient.
