1x1 would be sufficient. The vibration reduction comes from the connecting of the opposing panels, not the size of the bracing.

OP, you need to brace and you need to line the cabinet with open cell urethane foam or polyester furniture batting, 1 to 2 inches thick. Bracing and damping serve different purposes. You have to do both.
